Eating Healthy. It’s not just what you put on your hair; it’s what you put in your body too.

From weaves to eyelash extensions, we are constantly searching for new ways to beautify ourselves. Because we are so caught up with buying the newest beauty products we sometimes forget what’s most important, simply eating healthy! Paying attention to what you eat can have a major effect on your hair and skin. Some say that caffeine, carbonated drinks, and fatty foods can slow down hair growth.  Here are some vitamins and minerals that are a necessary part of promoting healthy hair growth:

Vitamin A

Vitamin A is good for your hair follicles. Too little might result in dry hair and rough skin.

Vitamin A is naturally found in red, yellow, and orange vegetables, green leafy vegetables, liver, and eggs.

B Complex Vitamins
All B Complex Vitamins are important for healthy hair, skin, eyes, liver, and nervous system.

They’re naturally found in bananas, milk, salmon, sardines, pork, avocado, mushrooms, and cheddar cheese.

Zinc

Zinc is a mineral that is necessary for hair growth and maintenance.

Zinc is naturally found in oysters, whole grains, nuts, nuts, beef, and lamb.
