At the Grammy Awards this year Alicia Keys wore her hair in a slick ‘50s inspired pompadour and added some glamour with a statement necklace and small stud earrings. This ‘do is strikingly similar to the look Janelle Monae wore at the Grammys a year earlier, even down to the diamond stud earrings. Alicia played it straight opting for a sleek modern tone, while Monae’s textured approach adds an edgy feel to her menswear inspired look. Both women were a huge hit, but who gets your vote for best coiffed?
